Famous Fast-Casual Brand Set to Open This Fall
Cincinnati (June 17, 2021) – Cincinnati-based restaurant brand Tom & Chee, famous for its melts, soups and grilled cheese donuts, today announced plans to open its sixth Greater Cincinnati area location this fall in one of the city’s fastest growing neighborhoods.
Oakley Station will be the backdrop for Tom & Chee’s latest Greater Cincinnati restaurant. The 1,400-square-foot, 22-seat restaurant (located at 3200 Vandercar Way, Suite 2, Cincinnati, OH 45209 in Oakley Station) will be the latest example of Tom & Chee’s new “&Crafted” restaurant design that integrates both natural and contemporary elements to convey the brand’s modern comfort food appeal.
In addition to its warm, inviting dining room, this “&Crafted” location also features enhanced off-premise dining via delivery and curbside pickup options. The Oakley restaurant is the latest to focus on delivering a remarkable, fast-casual dining experience. The restaurant will also be the second company-owned Tom & Chee location in Greater Cincinnati.

Tom & Chee, which skyrocketed to fame when it was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2013, got its start in 2009 in a tent adjoining a seasonal ice-skating rink on Cincinnati’s Fountain Square.

Other top sellers include the Asiago Chicken Club, Pesto & Turkey and Heavenly BBQ Chicken melts.
Lighter fare includes soup and salads like Tom & Chee’s Classic Tomato Soup; Creamy Tomato Basil Soup; Apple Pecan Chicken Salad with mixed greens, grilled chicken, Gorgonzola cheese, Roma tomatoes, candied pecans, apple chips, red onion and a white balsamic dressing; and the Green Goat Salad featuring mixed greens, goat cheese, chicken, dried cranberries, almonds, house-made croutons, and balsamic vinaigrette.
In addition to handcrafted melts and salads, Tom & Chee is known for its unique grilled sweet “cheets:” a grilled glazed donut with cheese and other toppings. The famous “Grilled Chee Donut” (grilled glazed donut and mild cheddar cheese) and the S’more Donut (grilled glazed donut, graham cracker, chocolate pieces and marshmallow mascarpone) are fan favorites.
